Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist with inquiries related to financial services and account management while fostering strong, trust-based relationships. Your ability to manage interactions with care, accuracy, and professionalism will be essential in ensuring member satisfaction.
More than transactions, this role blends frontline service with trusted judgment and thoughtful member care. While considered entry-level, this position calls for discretion, operational accuracy, and the sophistication expected in a financial institution. Success in this role requires a strong member-first mindset and the ability to navigate complex needs with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist members with account management, including debits, credits, and basic math calculations.
- Provide information regarding financial services offered.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist members in understanding their accounts and transactions.
- Adhere to operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions using financial software.
- Foster strong relationships with members through effective communication and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of basic math skills.
- Experience in financial services or banking is preferred but not required.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Positive personality and great energy.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
